BREW is home to BAFTA Crew Alumni, Writer/Director Emma Swinton.
Inspired by the landscapes and folklore from her roots in the North of England, Emma specialises in the magical and historical.
Emma graduated from the University of Westminster with a BA Hons in Film & TV Production in 2007. Since Emma has gone on to make short films that have screened at leading, global film festivals including Palm Springs, Calgary International Film Festival, Underwire, Aesthetica Short Film Festival, and London Short Film Festival.
Emma's last short Unearthed was made after winning the highly competitive Alexa Challenge competition organised by Arri and Directors UK.
Emma has directed leading talent including BAFTA award winner, John Rhys-Davies. Emma is a guest teacher at the Fontainebleau School of Drama, and is currently Director's Assisting on The Crown season 5.
Emma is in development on her first feature.
